Here is a beautiful drive-to alpine lake. It's a great spot for anglers of all levels and a scenic choice for a small boat, paddling or floating with plenty of hiking trails and wildlife.

Directions

From Interstate 90 at Wallace, take the Canyon Creek exit and head NE on Burke-Canyon Creek Rd (old State Hwy 4) roughly 11 miles towards the ID/MT border at Cooper Pass/Burke Summit. Turn south onto a dirt road and go back under the power lines, staying right, about a mile to the lake. Lower Glidden Lake is just west of the summit and the state line.

The following daily bag limits apply to all waters within each region except as modified in the Special Rules. The possession limit is 3-times the daily bag limit after the second day of the season.

Sturgeon
