Species Account:
The Camas Centennial Marsh in Camas Co. is very low on water this year. The Camas is in full bloom and compared to previous years it is about 2 weeks ahead of blooming schedule in my estimation. The low water may account for a complete absence of American Avocet, Black-neck Stilt, and Black Tern. As far as individuals present I also observed lower than usual numbers of Wilson Phalarope, Willet, Yellow-headed Blackbirds, Red-winged Blackbirds, Coots, Swallows, etc.
