Species Account:
Of the eight Canada Geese I saw today, two were adults, and the rest were a string of bright lemon yellow goslings, swimming in a straight line between the adults, which may or may not have been the parents of them all. One adult was at the head of the line, the other at the tail. If I had seen nothing else today, it was well worth my time just to see that. It was precious. Of course, I hope all those little goslings grow into healthy adults, but I know that in wild nature, this rarely happens.
