Species Account:
Coots were most numerous bird on reservoir, including many chicks. Canada Goose, Cinnamon Teal and Northern Shovlers had chicks with them. Long-billed Curlew was calling in the fields around the reservoir. Water level high so there was no shorebird habitat. Spotted Sandpiper was on the dam. Barn Swallows nesting in the covers over the picnic tables.
