Species Account:
My father-in-law was visiting my wife and kids and wanted to see the snipe and killdeer that I saw yesterday along the stream in my neighborhood. He called me saying that he was seeing a Say's Phoebe and American Pipits. I went hope for my lunch break and I was able to confirm his sightings while he was still there. We are both surprised to find these birds here in the winter. This stream through the Pinewood Lakes community has warmer water and is about the only open water around.
