Species Account:
Noticed a raptor flying overhead while I was fishing. The shape of the wings and wing beat were falcon like. I looked at the bird with very good binoculars. The underside was light colored with streaks of darker plumage. The back and head were very dark and moustach. It landed in a tree on the edge of the basin. I took a photo but the bird was too far away for it to be clear. Iwent back to fishing and noticed a few minutes later that it was no longer there.
