Species Account:
A friend and I pulled off the highway onto an elevated pullout on the south side of the Banks-Lowman Highway at around noon on April 13, 2012. We spotted an adult eagle in flight and observed it to land on an apparentl nest in the top of a tree high above the highway on the mountainside to the south. After a minute, the eagle took flight and slowly glided eastward towards Lowman. We were afraid that we had spooked the bird and we left. I tried to report the observation, but had to first locate your site (with the help of a couple local biologists) and then convert coordinates to match the site's format requirement. The pullout is at 44.0787861°, -115.6409972°, el. 1148m.
