Species Account:
Spotted Wolf at approx 9:30 a.m Saturday APril 21st while driving East on the Banks / Lowman highway. We had just crossed the Deadwood River bridge heading towards Lowman. It was a single wolf, lighter in color, probably 80 - 100 pounds. The Wolf was in a light run going through the campground but very close to the highway. When he saw us he kept up the light run pretty much keeping his eyes on while it was running up the ridgeline and disappeared out of sight. It lasted approx 30 seconds before it was completely out of sight.
