Species Account:
We had a dead deer located by the side of the road just barely up Highway 9 from the junction with Highway 8, and we drive by several times a day and had been watching the vultures and ravens working on eating the carcass for a few days already. Then we began to find a bald Eagle eating from the deer and then one day we drove by and there were a bald and golden eagle, standing side by side, right next to the carcass, in the field! We saw the golden a couple of times over two days.
