Species Account:
At around 10:30am I saw a very large, gray and black canine jogging in the meadow outside my house. It was roughly 300 yards away going towards a pond. I've seen many coyotes up close and this looked to be a lot larger and bulkier. I would estimate it was at around 80-90lbs. The size, color, build, shape of the face, etc all have me thinking it was a wolf and not a coyote. The reason I'm not 100% positive is at that distance with no magnification, there's a chance it may have just been a very large, dark colored coyote. The area around my house isn't known for wolf activity which has me sceptical, but I know they've been getting closer
