Species Account:
We have what appear to be false wireworms all around and in our house. They are everywhere, in our ceiling lights, crawling up our curtains, in our fountain outside. I looked at them under a digital microscope and found the have six legs near the head, antennae that have a wider tip, and a tapered upturned rear segment with little spiky hairs. We've never seen them before so their sudden appearance in such large number is startling.
