Species Account:
Note: 16:40- Saw PEFA, perched on second southernmost bluff. Sat preening for ~20 min, flew to third southernmost bluff. Continued to sit for ~10 min. Moved again to top of bluff, mostly just scanning area. 17:50- Wailing from PEFA, it pooped. 18:01- Wailing. Pefa flies and then perches in same spot again. 18:30 Saw two birds flying high over cliffs, occasionally play fighting, disappearing in and out of horizon. Appeared to be falcons, but due to distance, speed, and angle, it was impossible to confirm whether they were PEFA. Little reaction from original PEFA. 19:00 Original PEFA flew away. Came back after ~13 min. Perched in same spot on apex of third southernmost cliff. Occasional wailing. 19:50- Original PEFA took off, circled around cliff a few times, then flew north west. Saw a falcon again a few minutes after, impossible to tell if same or different, which also flew north west. Falcons were not seen again.
