Species Account:
Note: Watched eyrie the whole time. 5 minutes into survey, adult delivered prey. For the next hour, a larger, more juv feather-headed nestling was on ledge, eating and walking and wing-flapping. After that, a second slightly smaller, more downy headed nestling was on ledge. Adult delivered prey and it appeared that this smaller nestling fed. It too, preened and walked around ledge and wing-flapped but less convincing of a flap (weaker). Never saw the two nestlings at the same time, and there may be more than two. In the first 35 minutes, I saw 3 defecations. Seems a lot for 1 bird. Or two? | Fledgling age: 35-40 days
