Note: Female observed in the eyrie. Male returns and food exchange takes place with female coming out onto the ledge in front of the nesting cavity. AS THIS HAPPENS THE HEADS OF THREE CHICKS WERE PLAINLY VISIBLE IN THE NEST CAVITY. Shortly thereafter the chicks appeared to be feeding on something within the nest cavity. The male departed to a tree approximately 1 mile down river. The female remained at the opening to the nest cavity.
