Note: 6:40 Ad female observed at rear of aerie at start of observation. 7:15 Female flew from aerie out of sight down river; male assumed incubation posture at rear of aerie. 7:29 Male flew from aerie; both adults flying in vicinity briefly (food exchange?). We believe the female returned to aerie and assumed incubation posture; no feeding activity observed in aerie. Male perched on ledge approx. 25 m from aerie and began feeding on something. 7:52 Male flew from ledge abd disappeared downriver. 8:06 Female observed re-positioning on nest. No additional activity. Observation ended at 9:30.Adult Bald Eagles do not appear to have eggs in nest. Both adults observed at nest and in vicinity, but not in an incubating posture; nest left vacant for extended periods.
