Species Account:
While on walk on 31 May, I found a fledgling Peregrine Falcon on the ground next to Mountain Home Junior High School, E 6th S St. Today, I went back to the spot and photographed the young falcon atop the refrigeration-unit side structure. Then saw, and photographed, an adult on patrol. Shot more than a hundred photos of both birds. I believe the nest itself is on top of a roof beam under the roof itself; this is on the end of the building nearest the student ball fields.
