Species Account:
Large ( nearly twice the size of local ducks), dark body with some white feathers on/under wings. Has mostly white head with what appears to be a small crest of feathers atop. Red flesh around eyes and above beak.
This afternoon, Sunday May 19th, around 18:00, my kids pointed out what they thought was a swimming vulture in the neighborhood pond. Walked with body horizontal and definately had webbed feet.
