Additional population comments:
3 subpopulations for 5/12/2018. Unsure of any threats to these three locations other than erosion. Incidentally, no plants were noticed last spring or summer at the second location listed even though a number of plant people were looking for wildflowers in this area, specifically along the long stretch of scree slope along Bayhorse Road just east of this population. (Wendy McCrady, Sharon Huff of Mackay, and the Idaho Native Plant Society during their Annual Conference in Challis.)

This plant seems to favor steep, sparsely vegetated, exposed slopes with a mostly southern exposure on scree or scree/dirt substrate.

First observed on 5/12/2018. Counted all plants visible in late July when gone to seed. Revisited Subpop 2 on 8/6/2018.
