I examined the slope above this individual carefully. Usually a single individual in habitat such as this has a “seeder” portion of the population near the top of the slope. I looked over most of this drainage with binoculars as well as covered much of it on foot; no other individuals were found. Thelypodium repandum only expresses when growing conditions are suitable for fall germination, however, so it is possible that in other years more plants might be found in the basin.
