Population Area:
0.32 acres

yes
Suggestions for other areas to survey:
There are likely to be some plants we missed; also, the landowner knows of another small subpopulation elsewhere on his property, along an un-named tributary of the Potlatch River. There are also additional open areas along the upper portion of the breaks along the Potlatch River Canyon; this is in addition to the area owned by this landowner.
Management needs for this population:
Protection from disturbance, invasive annual grasses.
Additional population comments:
Landowner, Dale Dimico, said that he sent in a report on the CANI plants about two weeks ago. He said he estimated the number of individual CANI plants in all populations at 100; the actual count is about three times that.
Very few of the CANI heads in these subpopulations had been nipped off by wildlife; Heekin has observed nipped-off heads to be more frequent in other populations of CANI.
