Species Account:
Grayish brown. Mouse-like tail, but much shorter. I have found as many as 8 dead voles on my property on one day. Typically there are at least 2-3 every morning. A minimum of 24 dead voles in past 2-3 weeks. I have attributed this to my two cats, but after seeing recent article in paper, I'm concerned that there may be another reason why I am seeing so many dead voles.
