DCO Josh Stanley reported to me that last week he received a report of an aggressive snapping turtle in Sandpoint.
CO Matt Haag found the turtle in Chuck Slough on Pine Street in Sandpoint. It was on a trail acting aggressively toward humans and dogs. He shot it. It weighed about 50 pounds.
