Monitoring or research needs for this population: 
I visited several of the mapped subpopulations of these EOs (see map for waypoints). Although the time of year would have been suitable to see these annual plants, no special status plants (SSPs) were seen. The habitat appeared generally suitable, so the absence may be due to drought and patchy precipitation patterns this year. Some of this area had a large outbreak of army tent worms in 2013 (note shrub and cheatgrass mortality) which also may have affected these EOs.

Certainty of identification: No SSP found, although I’m confident of my ability to recognize them.
