Species Account:
Wind ~ 25 mph from south, partly overcast, 85 degrees. This was a quick visit to look for shorebirds. Low diversity of shorebirds but many ducks, geese, and ibis noted. Scope used as I scanned the area from the gravel parking lot down to the shoreline of the reservoir.
Submitted from BirdLog NA for iOS, version 1.4.8
A large mass of resting ducks were too far away for species breakdown. Many were likely Green-winged Teal, Northern Shoveler, Mallard, and Northern Pintail, but these were all too distant to note details.
duck sp. Anatinae sp.
