Species Account:
Iris and I headed down to the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley to enjoy the nice day. We stopped at the Genesee Sewage Pond on the way down, hiked along the levee to the Clearwater-Snake River Confluence, played on the beach at Hells Gate SP (Snake R.), and stopped at Mann Lake on the way home (Iris watched a movie while I looked at birds). A few notes of interest in taxonomic (rather than location) order below - nothing outrageous but a nice day overall w/ a decent variety of birds. In addition to birds listed below there was a massive hatch (?) of Woolly Ash Aphids at Hells Gate that was pretty cool.--
