Species Account:
Bob and I rode the new Ranger - Bronze Badger - into Silver City from Cow Creek Rd. off of Hwy 95. Parked where Cow Cr. Rd. and Trout Cr. Rd. meet. It had been snowing and raining but trip in wasn't too bad. Had to plow through some snow drifts but Ranger did a good job. When got into Silver City could hear the birds singing. Had a good time walking around, noting the birds. Even took a walk up Morning Star Trail but not much up there. Janie's cabin was nice and warm with the propane and wood stoves going. Periods of sunshine, rain, hail and then sunshine again. Typical Spring up there. Snowed overnight and raining when we left. Snow has melted off early in Silver this year and there wasn't much to begin with. Jordan Creek was running strong but it will probably run low by mid-summer.
