Comments...walked to the mudflats which were too far out to really get a good scope view. Didn't see large flocks of shorebirds at all. Some migrants and early fall arrivals. Big surprise was the Grasshopper sparrow. It flew up put of the weeds along the path just past the locust grove. Landed on a tree branch for almost a minute - long enough for me to get the scope on it and ID it.
