Species Account:
1 was located on the outside of our travel trailer and another on a chair leaning on the trailer the morning of Saturday 6/1/24. We took photos of them. They remained still but we did notice the closer we got to them, their antennas would expand to look like feathers. An hour or so later we moved a folding chair leaning against a table near the 1st 2 and spotted another one between chairs. The 3 remained there until at least noon. When we came back in the late afternoon they were gone. My husband also found one this morning, Tuesday 6/4/24 in a bag under our trailer. It appeared to have trapped itself inside. My husband removed everything from the bag and carefully shook the bag. The moth landed on the ground, spread its wings a couple of times and then flew away. No photos were taken of the 4th moth.
