5 pm. When I arrived home I saw the slug on the inside of my compost bin, clinging to the side of the bin just above the level of the garden waste therein. I photographed it before killing it.

looked on internet for "giant slugs in Idaho" and found the F&G site. There is no doubt the slug in the F&G site is the type of slug I saw.
