walked both shelterbelts
seen flying with mixed group of swallows, appeared at least as large if not larger than all nearby swallows and seemed long winged and tailed. Saw Vaux's Swifts all last week and my first impression upon seeing this bird naked eye was of a White-throated Swift b/c of the size but then saw the uniformly gray color and squared tail. ----Photo by Heidi Ware: <a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/heidiware/8886839505/" title="Chimney Swift by heidithebirdnerd, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5445/8886839505_91e5917762.jpg" alt="Chimney Swift" /></a>--More of Heidi's photos here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/heidiware/sets/72157633801956759/------Pictures by Darren Clark:--<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90248246@N06/8862309675/" title="Swift5 (D_Clark) by merlinjay, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8261/8862309675_4afae68abc.jpg" alt="Swift5 (D_Clark)" /></a>--<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90248246@N06/8862919562/" title="Swift4 (D_Clark) by merlinjay, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5349/8862919562_853ffd3d70.jpg" alt="Swift4 (D_Clark)" /></a>--<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90248246@N06/8862919714/" title="Swift3 (D_Clark) by merlinjay, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3733/8862919714_1d84a1bfcd.jpg" alt="Swift3 (D_Clark)" /></a>--<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90248246@N06/8862310587/" title="Swift2 (D_Clark) by merlinjay, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm6.staticflickr.com/5450/8862310587_6205cfd7cb.jpg" alt="Swift2 (D_Clark)" /></a>--<a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/90248246@N06/8862311161/" title="Swift1 (D_Clark) by merlinjay, on Flickr"><img src="http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3833/8862311161_81977df771.jpg" alt="Swift1 (D_Clark)" /></a>
