Citizen scientist collected survey data of Short-eared Owls for two seasons. Data includes negative and positive observations. Survey data was collected using the standardized protocol described in Miller et al. 2016 (referenced below, pdf available upon request). Data was collected using 5-minute point counts at 8 - 11 locations within a single evening approaching the end of civil twilight. Two visits per season were attempted. Volunteer names are not included in the database of observations as I have not requested their permission to upload that information to ID F&G. Miller, R. A., N. Paprocki, M. J. Stuber, C. E.
