Abstract:

Paraleptophlebis jenseni, n. sp. is described from male adults from Klickitat County, Washington. The species has also been collected from Owyhee County, Idaho, and is most closely related to P. traverae, n. sp., which is based on the male adult from Idaho County, previously misidentified as P. rufivenosa. Forewing pigmentation and morphology of the penes are diagnostic of the new species.
