Abstract:

A Pygmy rabbit (Brachylagus idahoensis) population survey was conducted on Bear Lake Plateau in 2006/2007. The survey identified 568 potential pygmy rabbit burrows and tested 13 fecal samples for pygmy rabbit DNA. Funding from the BLM Challenge Cost Share Grant from 2009-2012 allowed for the establishment of long-term monitoring sites on Bear Lake Plateau and Sheep Creek Hills in which the results are included in the Final Report and the Interim Report documents.

Encased in U13IFG02IDUS are three spreadsheets containing the respective pygmy pellet sample inventory data, monitoring site survey data, and the incidental observation data.
