Cecil D. Andrus Wildlife Management Area, located in northern Washington County, Idaho, is managed by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. Moths were collected and identified during 1997 and 1998. Diurnal moths were captured with an aerial insect net. Nocturnal moths were collected by blacklight trap and from walls of buildings near outside light fixtures. Two species of saturniids were documented, both of which are new records for Washington County. Eight species of sphingids were documented, seven of which are new records for Washington County.
