Abstract:

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announces a 90-day finding on a petition to list the Columbian sharp-tailed grouse (Tympanuchus phasianellus columbianus) as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. The Service finds that the petition does not provide substantial information indicating that listing the Columbian sharp-tailed grouse may be warranted. Therefore, the Service is not initiating a further status review in response to this petition. The Service, however, asks the public to submit to them any new information that becomes available concerning the status of the Columbian sharp-tailed grouse or threats to it.
