Abstract:

This is Volume 1 of the Idaho Cultural Resource Series and addresses the emigrant trails in southern Idaho and is a joint effort of the Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service. 135 maps, the volume enables the reader to be able to trace the trails used during the 19th century and visit some of the areas where evidence of the trail and the environmental setting has remained unchanged by modern developments.
