Bighorn Sheep Nutrition

This project with the University of Idaho is investigating the relationships between bighorn sheep adult female body condition, habitat quality, movements, and lamb survival in three bighorn sheep populations around the state (Owyhee River, Lost River Range, East Fork Salmon River).  

This project will help managers understand the potential of bighorn sheep populations that occur in different areas of the state that have different levels of habitat quality, informing potential habitat improvement projects and harvest management.
