I am wondering if the wildfire in Unit 11 will effect the hunting seasons? I have been waiting a lot of years to draw the Waha mule deer tag and finally did this year. Do you anticipate any closures? Thank you.

Right now there are no planned changes to seasons in Unit 11. The Dept. will proceed as usual with the mule deer and elk seasons. However due to the fire, game may be more concentrated in unburned areas providing a better opportunity to bag your buck. Good luck!
