As of late June 2014, the quota for the upper Salmon River Chinook fishery is roughly 755 salmon harvested.
Keep in-mind, this fishery is comprised of salmon returning to Pahsimeroi and Sawtooth hatcheries. The fishery area downstream of the Pahsimeroi river could close earlier than the area upstream of the Pahsimeroi to help in meeting the broodstock goal at Pahsimeroi Hatchery.
