Happy Monday.
Can we get an update on what is the expected sportsman quota for the south fork of the salmon and main salmon/rapid river hatchery? I see the numbers are still looking good coming over bonneville dam for the mccall hatchery. What percent of the fish have a PIT tag?
Thanks for the help!!
Josh
Answer:
As of this morning (6/18) the estimated harvestable sport-angling share is 780 adults. This is based on the PIT data which generated a population estimate at Bonneville Dam. As more PIT tagged fish are detected at Lower Granite Dam (upper-most dam where Salmon River fish are monitored) the quota will be adjusted accordingly.
