There is no legal standard in Idaho State Code or Adminstrative Rule setting a required distance from buildings to discharge a firearm.  However, there are certain cities and counties that have created ordinances setting these distance requirements.  Please check with the appropriate city or county jurisdiction to determine if they have such an ordinance.
