Do California quail seek water at predictable times, such as morning and evening?

Answer:
Animals are not necessarily predictable, but California quail do often seek water daily.  Mornings and evening would be typical times to visit water, but it might vary depending on weather conditions.  You might expect them to stay near water (and shade) more often on hot, dry days.  On the other hand, quail do not need to drink water if succulent green vegetation is available for food.  Thanks for your question!
