I was told it might be closed but I understood by reading the regulations that it was open with "catch and release". Could you help in clarifying this for me

The North and South forks of the Snake River are open to fishing during the 4/27 – 30 period. All the tributaries to these rivers are closed. The area near Coffee Pot will be catch-and-release fishing, only.
