Mountain Lion Monitoring

Similar to several other projects, the goal of this project is to develop new methods to count and monitor mountain lions while providing information on mountain lion habitat selection, movements, and interactions with other species for the predator-prey project.  

We’re using GPS-collared lions and camera grids in GMUs 6, 10A, and 75/77 to examine how different camera grid strategies affect our estimates of mountain lions.
