Does Idaho Fish and Game verify the information provided by trappers on trapping reports?

No we do not.  Nor do we verify what people report on mandatory harvest reports for big game.  However, we find that by and large, responses are mostly honest. However, on occassion we get information or know information that isn't quite right with certain forms and we investigate. We hope that trappers understand how important accurate information is to management of the sport they love.
