Is it legal to fish at night as long as I'm not using any means of lights?

Answer:
There used to be a rule that banned the use of lights to fish at night. That rule was dropped years ago. Generally, there are no hour limits to fishing and you can fish all night long. It is actually fairly popular to fish for catfish into the wee hours of the night. . However, there could be some special restrictions for the use of lights in certain salmon or steelhead seasons. Please check the fishing proclamations and the Salmon season brochures for special rules that might apply.
