Species Account:
A White Tailed doe was in my front yard which is fenced and while trying to get out, she ran and hit the fence and broke her neck. She was alive but not moving. I went next door to get my son. We returned about 5 minutes later and she was dead. We immediatly cut her throat, so that she would bleed out and hopefully the meat could be salvaged if Fish and Game would permit it. We called the Sheriffs office as it was still around 7 AM. They instructed us to get on the website and make this report and then you would advise if we could salvage the meat. I am 84 years old and don't do tech stuff very well. So I don't have a photo. But I do know definitely that it is a White Tailed Doe!
