Species Account:
I know that the White-tailed Antelope Ground Squirrel is active in all months/ that's what prompts me to think that this is one. Carcass really beat up. Found on edge of the westbound lane of Old Highway 30 at about 1130 28 Feb., about two miles west of intersection with Beet Dump Road, Elmore County. Several Red-tailed Hawks active in the area, along with Common Raven and Black-billed Magpies.
