Species Account:
I was driving eastbound on I-90, just east of the onramp at mile 15 (near Sherman Ave, CdA, ID) when a deer jumped the center barrier into the eastbound lanes of traffic. As I seen it jump I hit the brakes and nearly immediately also hit the deer. My husband was following me, as we had just bought a new (used) vehicle in Post Falls and we were on our way home. The deer was light tan colored with a white tail on the underside and little spikes that were only about an inch or so off the top of the head.
