Summary
My wife and I were returning home from Sandpoint and about four (4) miles from home, about half-way between 489 and 490 on highway 95, north-bound, a deer ran into the road immediately in front of the vehicle, at approximately 5:20pm on November 19, 2020. We struck the deer on it’s back half, with the left front corner of the vehicle, the 2005 Hyundai, Santa Fe. We were not personally harmed in any way. We changed the left front tire and were able to safely drive the four (4) miles home, as the cooling system had only lost a small amount of coolant.

I have no knowledge if it was a mule deer or whitetail.
